We are pleased to announce that UESHIMA MUSEUM will hold its 3rd collection exhibition, “The Image Burns, Distorts, and Sublimates into Light,” starting September 2, 2026 (Wed).
At the museum, visitors can explore a curated selection of contemporary art pieces from the UESHIMA MUSEUM COLLECTION, a collection of over 850 works by a diverse range of domestic and international artists based on the theme of "contemporaneity" and aligned with various themes.
For this third exhibition of the collection, Yuko Hasegawa, who served as the Director of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa until March 2025 and is internationally active, returns as the curator to renew the exhibition.
We look forward to welcoming you at the museum.
